Most clients return to normal activity the same day. Any localised swelling or redness typically settles within 24–72 hours.

What is Profhilo?
Profhilo is a stabilised injectable hyaluronic acid product with one of the highest HA concentrations available in any injectable, approximately 64 mg in 2 ml. Unlike conventional fillers, it is not intended to add volume but to stimulate the production of four types of collagen and elastin through NAHYCO hybrid technology, and to deeply hydrate the skin from within.
How is it different from dermal filler?
Dermal fillers are placed in specific anatomical locations to add structure or volume. Profhilo spreads through the skin's natural tissue planes from 5 injection points on each side of the face, improving the overall quality, bounce, and hydration of the skin rather than targeting a specific area of volume loss.
What does the treatment protocol involve?
The standard protocol is two sessions spaced 4 weeks apart. Results develop progressively over the following 2 to 3 months as the bioremodelling effect takes hold. A maintenance session at 6 to 12 months is recommended to sustain the result.
Who is Profhilo suited to?
Clients with early skin laxity, loss of skin quality and elasticity, or dehydrated, dull skin who are not yet appropriate candidates for structural filler. It is also used as an adjunct alongside injectables in a broader treatment plan, and is suitable for the face, neck, and hands.
What should I expect after treatment?
Small wheals at the injection points that resolve within 1 to 2 hours. Some swelling and occasional bruising for 2 to 3 days. The product is BDDE-free and distributes quickly; injection points should not be visible after a day.
